Our farm is home to a menagerie of friendly farm animals.

From the end of July to mid spring we usually (but not always) have an explosion of new baby animals born which is

very exciting.

We are happy to share our farm with guests, introduce you to our furry friends and recommend some fabulous

local places to visit . You may even want to join a local winery tour many of which will pick you up from your

place of accommodation, so you can enjoy tasting some of our lovely local wines without the hassle of driving.

We are a small farm with a mix of Angus Cattle and  Australian Dorper  Sheep.

The farm is also home to Lenny  the Alpaca, Cinnamon and Nutmeg our friendly Boer goats,

Dolly the miniature pony, farm yard geese, turkeys and an assortment of chickens and our two friendly

dogs Max and Archie as well.

Guests  are welcome to take take a stroll around the farm, meet the animals, enjoy a picnic on the hillside,

a bottle of wine around the fire pit or a splash in the in-ground mineral salt swimming pool.

Seasonal and weather permitting.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Tab and Terry's place. This was by far and away the best Airbnb we have stayed out with some wonderfully thoughtful touches including homemade bread when we arrived. The cottage is superbly decorated and has been done with such attention to detail. The coffee machine, eggs and pantry items were a lovely surprise. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the farm and loved spending time with the animals and going for walks around the property accompanied by Max, Poppy and Archie. If you are looking to get away from it all and enjoy some peace and quiet and wonderful country hospitality look no further - Tab and Terry were wonderful hosts - thank you again.

Tab and Terry were absolutely amazing hosts! My partner and I stayed for 3 nights and wish we were there for longer. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, the fireplace kept us very warm and living surrounded by gorgeous farm animals was an absolute highlight. We were lucky to stay during lambing season, and met and fed a couple of gorgeous 9-day-old lambs. The property itself was also beautiful and very serene- immediately relaxing. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and thank Tab and Terry for their kindness and hospitality.

From the first communication, to the warm departure, our stay at Sawmill Cottage was truly wonderful. Tab really gets it, her gorgeous touches and styling compliment the amazing accommodation her and Terry have built on their slice of rural paradise. As we drove up the drive we were met by Tab and her wonderful herd of doggies, lovely Max, puppy Poppy and cute wee Archie and were blown away by all the lovely personal touches that made us feel really welcome. Thank you for sharing your stunning property and lovely farm family with us and we'll definitely be back.
